Marco Island Boat Show 2026
Oct 16-18, 2026 — Marco Island Yacht Club
The Marco Island Boat Show is the biggest in-water recreational boat show in the Naples-Marco Island area, and it's one of the best weekends of the fall boating calendar in Southwest Florida. Organized by the Marine Industries Association of Collier County (MIACC), this show puts boats in the water at one of the most scenic venues in Collier County. If you're shopping for a boat or just want to spend a gorgeous October day checking out what's new on the water, Marco Island is where you want to be.
Fish Tale Boats will be there with a full spread of Grady-White, Robalo, Chaparral, and Premier Pontoon models. Here's everything you need to know before you go.
What Is the Marco Island Boat Show?
The Marco Island Boat Show is Collier County's premier recreational in-water boat show, and MIACC has been organizing it for years. What sets it apart from many smaller regional shows is that the boats are actually in the water. Most local shows display boats on trailers in parking lots or convention center floors. At Marco, you walk the docks and step aboard boats that are floating, which gives you a much better sense of how they feel, how they sit, and how the layout works when you're at water level.
The show takes place at the Marco Island Yacht Club, a waterfront venue on the north end of the island. It's a beautiful setting with views of the Caxambas Pass area and the 10,000 Islands. October weather in Southwest Florida is typically warm and dry, so you're looking at a comfortable outdoor experience.
The Marco show draws dealers, manufacturers, and marine service providers from across the region. You'll find everything from small skiffs and flats boats to offshore center consoles, luxury cruisers, and pontoons. Marine electronics companies, outboard dealers, and accessory vendors round out the mix.
MIACC, the Marine Industries Association of Collier County, runs a tight event. They've built strong relationships with local dealers and manufacturers, and the show reflects that. It's well-organized, the in-water displays are curated, and the vendors who participate are serious about serving the boating community.
What to Expect at the Marco Island Boat Show
In-Water Displays
This is the headline feature and the main reason the Marco show stands out. Boats are displayed in the water at the yacht club's docks. You're not looking up at a hull on a trailer. You're stepping down into a cockpit at dock level, sitting in the helm seat, and seeing the boat the way you'd use it. For serious buyers, this is a huge advantage.
In-water displays let you evaluate things that are impossible to judge on dry land: how stable the boat feels, how the freeboard works at the dock, and how the step-down from the gunwale feels when you're actually boarding.
Wide Range of Boats
The show covers the full spectrum of recreational boating:
- Center consoles for offshore fishing and reef trips
- Bay boats for inshore anglers working the backwaters
- Dual consoles for families who fish and cruise
- Sport boats and bowriders for watersports and day cruising
- Pontoons and tritoons for entertaining and relaxed cruising
- Luxury cruisers for weekend getaways and island hopping
Whether you're looking for a 20-foot bay boat for the 10,000 Islands or a 35-foot center console for Gulf Stream trips, you'll find options.
Marine Vendors and Services
Beyond boats, the show features marine electronics dealers, outboard motor representatives, marine financing companies, and accessory vendors. It's a one-stop shop for everything related to owning and operating a boat in Southwest Florida.
Food and Entertainment
MIACC puts together a full event experience. Expect food vendors, refreshments, and a generally festive atmosphere. It's a fun day out even if you're not actively shopping.
Getting There
Directions

Parking
Parking at the yacht club fills up, especially on Saturday. The show typically provides shuttle service from overflow lots nearby. Plan to arrive early for the best parking, or take advantage of the shuttles. Check the MIACC website closer to the event for updated parking and shuttle information.
Tips for Visiting the Marco Island Boat Show
Buy tickets in advance if available. Check the MIACC website for online ticket options. It can save you time at the gate.
Bring sunscreen and a hat. This is an outdoor, waterfront show in October. The Florida sun is still strong, and you'll be on docks with limited shade.
Wear non-marking, closed-toe shoes. You'll be stepping on and off boats at the docks. Boat-friendly footwear keeps you safe and protects the boats' decks and gelcoat.
Have your "must-see" list ready. With dozens of boats on display, it's easy to wander. If you're shopping, know your top two or three models before you arrive so you can spend quality time with each one.
Bring trade info. If you have a boat to trade, bring the details: year, make, model, engine hours, and any maintenance records. Our team can start working on a trade value while you browse.
Get financing sorted beforehand. Getting pre-approved before the show means you can move quickly if you find the right deal. Boat show pricing is real, but deals move fast.
Plan for Saturday crowds. Saturday is always the busiest day. If you want more personal attention and shorter lines, Friday morning and Sunday morning are your best bets.

Marco Island Boat Show FAQ
How much does it cost to attend the Marco Island Boat Show? General admission is $20. Kids 12 and under get in free with a paying adult. Check MIACC's website for any advance ticket discounts or promotions.
What makes this show different from other local boat shows? The in-water format is the big differentiator. Most smaller regional shows display boats on trailers or concrete. At Marco, boats are floating at the docks, so you can step aboard and evaluate them the way they're meant to be experienced. MIACC also organizes the Naples Boat Show, and the two events complement each other well throughout the season.
Can I buy a boat at the show? Absolutely. Dealers come ready to sell, and boat show pricing is typically the most aggressive you'll see. Bring your ID, insurance info, and pre-approval to be ready to move on a deal.
Is the Marco Island Boat Show good for families? Yes. The waterfront setting is pleasant for all ages, and kids enjoy walking the docks and climbing aboard boats. Food vendors keep everyone fueled, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Just keep a close eye on young children near the docks and water.
Where is the closest Fish Tale Boats location to Marco Island? Our Naples dealership is the closest location. After the show, you can visit us there for sea trials, follow-up questions, and to see any models that weren't at the show. We also have locations in Fort Myers and Bonita Springs.
